Happy Halloween! We’re hurtling through October at an amazing speed! First, it’s the month of our 15th birthday as a show. Then there are the projects that have happened back to back, taking time away – including two mornings of shooting video/livestream of the Dalai Lama on his recent visit to our city. The one that we liked the best was with neurologists discussing neuroplasticity and how our brains can rewire themselves and help our bodies heal after traumatic injuries. Very cool. The Dalai Lama is fascinated by the subject, which is why he asked for the presentation. And he has a great humor! He makes fun of himself to make very good points. His laugh would make a great ringtone. Here is a link to the first morning, at the UAB Alys Stephens Center. It is slow at times, because these are scientists, not late night tv hosts.
