Happy Birthday, Ralph! Wednesday 11/02/11
Happy Birthday, Ralph! You’re the best reason we have for cake
Now would be a good time to thank you for ever becoming a broadcast engineer, or loving vinyl, or wanting to surround us with friends and cool music on a weekly basis. We’re still having the time of our lives, and it wouldn’t be this way without you. <3 <3 <3
All that being said, November’s shaping up quite nicely. Tonight, we’ll hear from a nice cross section of genres, starting with drum&bass, followed by more drum&bass, with a break for whatever videos Ralph springs on us this week, then continuing with more drum&bass — which COULD end up being house, finishing up with — you guessed it, drum&bass!! Everyone mixes in a little something different, so no two sets will even resemble each other. NO, Karen didn’t plan it this way, especially not in honor of the Birfday Boy, and perhaps it will unfold differently. As always, we’ll see. Enjoy the show!
Tonight’s Lineup:
9p – Reid K – AudioFurnace.com
10p – Jay Salillas
11p – The Birfday Boy Himself, Ralph Lindstrom – videos
12a – DJ Ddot – it’s a coin toss
1a – 9.5 – livewire

11p – MP5 – hmm
12a – The Mutha Funkin Punkin

The Anniversary Continues – 10/19/11
Not the night to bring your napping kitty to the studio. Except for Andy Johnson, who’ll break everyone in nice and easy, it’s gonna be a noisy night – not IDM noise, but it’ll ruin your office mate’s afternoon nap if you’re watching this at work
Enjoy the show!
9p – Andy Johnson – house
10p – Menace – breaks
11p – Bird – drum&bass
12a – NDCYSIV – he keeps changing on me

This week in 1999… Live on the Harmony Network
Yup, this week in 1999, we were brand new to the webcast world, and wondering who, if anyone, was watching. Friends called in, we had interviews, we were starting our long habit of loading various styles of “underground” music onto the automation, and being proud that anyone on the world wide web could listen to our website 24/7. (I wonder if the phrase 24/7 was even in the American slang books yet..) This year, we went HD, started mixing videos, finally got a new (shorter) crossfader, and are now celebrating the start of our THIRTEENTH year on the web. Who would’ve guessed? And as we’ve hoped for you since the beginning, Enjoy the show!
The Lineup:
9p – Kevin Oneel – breaks to drum&bass (he’s promised someone)
10p – Daywalker – house (top 40 cheesy, in his own words)
11p – Fitzpatrick -unbelievahouse
12a – Ralph Lindstrom – videos
1a – iMatt – no tellin’

Happy 13th Birthday, Take Two! 10/05/11
Happy Anniversary Month to Us! We’re two weeks into our THIRTEENTH year, and
laughing at how different things are from October 1999, when we did our first webcast.
We were audio only for the first two years, when we realized that we had all our cameras
sitting in their cases between shoots.
Tonight we’re celebrating a birthday with the first cake that hasn’t come from a bakery.
It’s something called a strawberry cheesequake, and it weights a ton. We’ll see. Meanwhile,
Mark Falcon, who remembers seeing the sun come up plenty of times after our parties,
will open the show tonight. Chase Knox is in tonight, playing his latest drum&bass favorites.
Mian Russell takes the place of Krystoph, who says hello, and will make up the date soon.
Ralph is still playing with the Virtual DJ video mixer, and 9.5 gets to play two weeks after
I put him off so we could do an early production gig the next day. ENJOY THE SHOW!
The Lineup:
9p – Mark Falcon – whatever makes him happy
10p – Chase Knox – drum&bass
11p – Mian Russell – house
12a – Ralph Lindstrom – videos
1a – 9.5 – drum&bass
