08/22/12 Live Wednesday Webcast

I love it – another night of all one-name djs, except for Ralph – and since you know exactly who I am talking about,
I’ll leave off the Lindstrom so it looks neat. I love how individual these particular djs are, and that each hour should
really speak for itself. Enjoy the show!

Tonight’s Lineup:

9p – Stevo – excellent, dancey house  (Karen’s words)
10p – Coco – very different, equally excellent dancey house
11p – Bird – drum&bass, for starters – seatbelts suggested 😉
12a – Ralph -a live video mix – I don’t give him enough props. It takes attention
to be that smooth. And there’s a lot going on around here on Wednesdays.
1a – Krystoph – reggaeton, world beats – nice, chill, great way to sail off into the week.

BRING YOUR OWN BASS! 07/04/12 Annual July 4th Webcast Tonight

Happy Independence Day! Tonight’s our annual July 4th webcast, where all our friends gather in the studio parking lot to watch the city’s huge fireworks spectacular that takes place high atop Red Mountain, at Vulcan Park. People can see it from all directions, for miles around. It even stops traffic in the interstates. Southside is jammed for a solid hour before and after. A very happy night.

Our dear friend, Gadget, named it BYOB (Bring Your Own Bass) because just for this webcast, everyone parks nearby and tunes their car radios to 100.1 to hear it. The cars are the outdoor speakers for the party. But tonight there is NO PARKING IN THE LOT since the studio kitty finally has her little kitten, and we don’t want to run over them. They’ll probably hide anyway, but still.

Bring whatever food and drinks you like, and we’ll have a couple of coolers with ice. Stay as long as you like. Webcast ends at the normal time, 2am, but we’ll have been indoors long before that. Enjoy the show!

Tonight’s Lineup:

7p – Branduan and Tuck Chesta – Soundscape
8p – MP5, Kaotic Grace and Oscillator – CULTure
9p – Recess – UGT Crew, Magic City Entertainment
10p – DJ Coco – Solid Gold, for one thing
11p – Mian Russell – SunDaze
12a – Ralph Lindstrom – Your Host from Harmony
1a – Phlip – Harmony – one of our very own original Harmony djs 🙂

01/11/12 Wednesday Webcast

I (Karen) have been down on the job, since we’re gearing up for a totally unrelated,
biggest event that we do all year. It’s weeks away still, but there is a lot to it. M-Rave went well this weekend, and DJ CoCo will tell us more about his part of it. I hope we can play a little clip I recorded on my consumer camera (left the fancy ones in place). Enjoy the show!

9p – DJ Superstar – tearin’ it up, per usual
10p – DJ CoCo – yup, a FIRST TIMER. Can’t wait!
11p – DJ Steel – Bad Robotz – my guess?  originals or his latest clubby favorites  🙂
12a – Ralph Lindstrom – videos, mostly
1a – Mian Russell – house, but he might surprise us.
