Light a candle for the Longest Night of the Year 12/21/16

“Many hours to go before we sleep,” which is a good thing, as we paraphrase Robert Frost. (Thanks for the reminder, Chevonne)  Happy Winter Solstice, and Merry Christmas!

We sorely miss our dear friend, Kerry, or as you all know him, 9.5   Look people in the eye, with respect, humility, and appreciation. Always decide whether something is really worth getting angry about. Usually it isn’t. Then you will be a tiny bit like Kerry. <3

Enjoy the show!

10p – Library 8 – Harmony – drum&bass

Thunder on the Mountain – July 4th, 2016

Yessir, tonight is it! We can’t wait to see all the faces. You’d best be parked on Southside by 8:00, or you’ll have to ditch it and walk the rest of the way. We have a perfect view of the annual fireworks display that takes place on Red Mountain, at Vulcan Park. (Not Star Trek. The God of Iron. But I digress..) You can see it for miles and miles and miles. People pack the streets on both sides of the mountain, even stopping on the side of the interstate to watch — please DON’T. Our show starts at 8p tonight, for those of you who heed our advice to get blocked in early. There’s a monitor outside, for watching the show and the fireworks at the same time. Bring coolers, kids, just you, whatever. Bathrooms down the block at the Tom & Jerry’s Chevron (the one on the curve). Enjoy the show!

Tonight’s Lineup:

8p – NDCYSIV – Sembient Circle
9p – Ralph Lindstrom & Slade Prisoc – Harmony
10p – Library 8 – Harmony – drum&bass (I call his kind intelligent)
11p – Joee – Harmony – hopefully with Ddot (Harmony, MCJ, Majik City Radio) and Swytch – TRiLLBASS, Majik City Radio — Lawd help us ALL!
12a – Jog – He’s the Chuck Norris of our scene – he stands for himself 😀 How about that? I just made it up..

See ya on the radio!
The Harmony Network and Friends – many and dear, far and wide, we love you all. Happy 4th of July! <3

They didn’t even know they were supposed to stay all night..

When Joey, Chas and Jessica dragged us into the underground, the original result was Time Bomb – March 23, 1996, in the parking deck at the corner of 2nd Ave South @ 18th St. Kids looked so many different ways, some goth, some candy, some actually had corduroys, and they’d already faded away by around 3am.  They didn’t even know they were supposed to stay till dawn – but they learned by the third one! We all grew up together, a couple hundred of us who still know each other, and the collective memories are something else. But I digress.  Tonight, hug your old friends, and enjoy the show!

P.S. And LOVE to David Allison, who has his foot in the air for the moment. We’ll see him again very soon. <3

Tonight’s Lineup:

9p – Slade – Harmony –  bass house
10p – Joee (Harmony) & Ddot – Majik City Junglists, Harmony – future house
12a – Jeff Sanford – Station house – yes, throw yourselves back into the late 90’s gay club on Morris Avenue. This is what Karen means by “gay house.” A special shout out to David Allison, Lydia Prim and of course, Ralph.
