A newbie, a renewbie, a we’ll miss youbie, and glad to see youbie 02/22/12
WHAT a night. And it’s a weird date, too. 02 22 12. This lineup is just plain UNUSUAL. First up is possibly the youngest dj we’ve ever had on the show – ever. Of course, the record won’t stand for long because Tuck Chesta comes with quite a posse. Stay tuned. I can’t decide if the next guy is a flying squirrel or a led zeppelin. He fell STORIES and lived. He’s back, better than ever. Welcome, Krystoph – glad you bounced – in a good way! Fitzpatrick is setting off for the left coast. We will MISS YOU, and expect two things: a full report with pictures, and live remotes! Much love to you and the wife unit <3 After Ralph plays whatever he likes, we’ll get to see Wil Raines – yeah, I typed it right. He’s the SECOND “One L Wil” we know. Enjoy the show!
Tonight’s Lineup:
9p – Tuck Chesta – starting with dubstep.
10p – Krystoph – industrial/dubstep
11p – Fitzpatrick – house
12a – Ralph Lindstrom – videos
1a – Wil Raines – old school breakbeat

This week in 1999… Live on the Harmony Network
Yup, this week in 1999, we were brand new to the webcast world, and wondering who, if anyone, was watching. Friends called in, we had interviews, we were starting our long habit of loading various styles of “underground” music onto the automation, and being proud that anyone on the world wide web could listen to our website 24/7. (I wonder if the phrase 24/7 was even in the American slang books yet..) This year, we went HD, started mixing videos, finally got a new (shorter) crossfader, and are now celebrating the start of our THIRTEENTH year on the web. Who would’ve guessed? And as we’ve hoped for you since the beginning, Enjoy the show!
The Lineup:
9p – Kevin Oneel – breaks to drum&bass (he’s promised someone)
10p – Daywalker – house (top 40 cheesy, in his own words)
11p – Fitzpatrick -unbelievahouse
12a – Ralph Lindstrom – videos
1a – iMatt – no tellin’

Wednesday Webcast 06-22-11
Wednesday Night, 06/22/11 **9p-2a – ish, Central Time**
Next Wednesday, we’ll be far, far away, with a few of the guests from tonight’s show. Oneel, Fitzpatrick and Ralph Lindstrom will all be playing the Cornerstone Festival this year. Check out Tastyfresh.com and Andy Hunter for an idea of what it’s all about, and who Ralph will be opening for on the festival’s main stage! Thank you so much, Tastyfresh and Oneel, for letting us rock the house for you!
All that being said, the point is that next Wednesday’s show will be made up on the Fourth of July, Monday (the 4th, duh). We call the annual bash BYOB – Bring Your Own Bass, named by our own DJ Gadget (RIP). Pull you car into our lot, tune into 100.1, and become one of the many speakers blasting what’s happening inside the studio. Remember to beat the hoards of people heading to Southside for a good view of the fireworks show at Vulcan Park, on the mountain. If you like, bring something to eat or drink, and rest assured that the sofa cooler will be in full effect!
Ok, enough! Here’s to a great show THIS week, with plenty of house, breaks, cool videos, and delicious drum&bass. Enjoy the show!
This week’s lineup:
9-10p – Oneel – plenty of originals – look up the label MK837 on Beatport.com
10-11p – Ralph Lindstrom – no telling
11p-12a – Fitzpatrick – house
12-1a – Pixel – drum&bass
1a – TBA

Wednesday Night, 5/04/11 **9p-2a – ish, Central Time**
One week after the tornadoes came through our state, and it’s still affecting our lineup.
As I update the post from last week, it’s weird to realize that as I was typing it, I had no idea
what was to come. SugaFree and all our Tuscaloosa dj friends lived through it, but there are
other areas hit just as hard, and they don’t have the media coverage to make themselves heard.
Also, half of our lighting equipment is now buried in the sanctuary of a church destroyed that day.
It is beyond amazing how many volunteers, how many donations, how much STUFF is being
showered on Alabama. Thank you. Tonight, enjoy the show!
9-10 – Wes Kane – Bad Robotz! – robotzrbad.blogspot.com – special vinyl breaks set
10-11 – Oneel – MK837 – check out the label on Beatport
11-12 – Fitzpatrick – whoisfitzpatrick.com
12-1 – Superstar – breaks
1-2 – Joe E – pure funkiness
